Guarantee plan (GCR) for new residential buildings rating: AA
Since January 1, 2015, all builders of new homes in Québec must abide by the new Guarantee plan for new residential buildings. The purpose of the plan is to make sure that the construction quality criteria recognised in Québec are met.
HMC prefab houses are covered by this plan and we were rated “AA” when we obtained our accreditation certificate.
Proudly CSA-certified
Our production method is backed by a quality assurance program certified by the CSA standard. CSA is Canada’s principal standard-setting organisation. The materials we use to produce our prefab buildings are all certified by a recognised standard.
A CSA inspector conducts surprise visits of our plant 4 times a year to make sure we comply with our assurance program. CSA standards help make homes in Québec and Canada safe.
